It would have been a vast underestimation of these ancient creators
 to presume that the single purpose of this great work, 
 so detailed, so thoroughly accurate and executed with such conscientious perfection
  was solely to service primitive superstition or a sterile ancient religion.

 When, in reality, we have a large scale and unique archaeological testimony
 to the first awakening of the exact sciences in the evolution of humanity.
A gigantic effort of the primitive mind that is reflected in the grandeur
 of the execution under the vast sky and  immense and lonely plains,
swept by the wind and burnished by the sun.
